Wow, have the Last few days just been great weather wise. The weather has been a little bit of a Tease, But it is a great reminder of whats coming! Just a little reminder for all the road riders out there. watch your cornering speed in the early season as there is much sand on the roads.
   Hope you all got out and got to pedal At some point this weekend. and don't forget, this time of year is for LSD ( long.slow.distances. ) build that Base right. Also the traing races are back at NHMS hope to see some of you at the track..... Cheers

With daylight savings now here, we now have more time to be outside and whats the best thing to do in early spring I say And thats get out and ride your bike and start getting some base miles. so for that we will be doing our first road ride this Monday Meeting at the Belmont park & ride on route 106. We will be venturing down to ( NHMS ) and back. it will be an easy ride. and shake those cobwebs out. we will be leaving at 5:45 hope to see you there.

Well it's the first week into March and we are gaining daylight buy the minute And the temps are starting to go in the right direction and soon the snow will be all melted off.
The month of March is typically the start of the service season, but some people took advantage early and got an early start, Now is a good time to get in and give your bicycle some love. The push is on.

 Now for some other news on a different Matter.  For the second Year in a row, Chainline Cycles is a dress drop off location for the Faith,Hope & Love foundation's dress drive. Last year was a large success. So if you have a New prom dress that you would like to donate Bring it by, And we'll make Sure the F.H.L gets your donated dress..

Well It's 50 degrees out right now, Who's ready to ride..... I know Im ready.. BUT the temps will be  Dipping back Into normal temps by the end of the day.. BOOOO. And The Groundhog  will rear its ugly head in the next day we'll see what Phil has to say about that... Any predictions ???

With the The ringing in of 2013, the start of a new cycling season is here, and I'm wondering what goals you have all set, or want to set for your up coming cycling season?
   A good reason for goal setting. It gives the feeling of accomplishment.. here are some short simple tips to help you achieve those goals you set for yourself..

 #1 keep your goals attainable.. " many small victories have more self worth in the long run.

#2 dont get caught up in someone else's goal setting. your goals may be different and have different meaning..
#3 Dont fret the the setbacks they happen,and they WILL. BUT.They"WILL"  help you move forward.

#4  which is the most important of them all. Have FUN !!!
 
 With these 4 simple rules you should be on your way to a super fun season of cycling.

Now that the Snow has arrived, Now is a good time to be thinking about the up coming Spring. It's never To early to be thinking about Next season. During the winter months and your riding your bike it's a good time to be getting some of the big service work done, Like fork rebuilds swing arm bearings etc, Or may be thinking of the new Bike you want to build.
  On the Niner front, Some Big news.. Niner is now offering 20 models of bikes as complete builds with their Stars series. this will make easier and less confusing. and get you riding a Niner faster..
 With Rocky Mountain for 2013 they have gone to a full lineup across the board with 29ers they have some great offerings with 650B wheels. And their downhill freeride is hands down the best looking line up this season.
  Marin  has a steller line up for 2013 with great value across the line with some great pricing. Be looking to see more of Marins product in the news.
  Also making big noise is Banshee. they have revamped their lineup with their KS link.. and offering bikes in 650B 26in And 29.
