In the last few years we have been hearing a lot of chatter about gravel Grinding, Ahhh yes, the red headed stepchild of road riding.  So I set out this season  to see what I could find for dirt roads in our area, and to my surprise, I have found a ton.. I can honestly say that I have become rather obsessive about it. Every ride trying to connecting another section of dirt road to another, and figuring out loops that all connect together. It has been a lot of fun,But,what I have noticed along the way has been the lack of any traffic.  Another bonus has been the great views of rolling farmlands, and scenery that is just plain amazing. It has really opened up a whole new element of riding that I think everyone should get out and and try

Now for some other rambling. The trails at #ramblinvewe are in great shape. The system has Gained a few new trails they are somewhat short but make for connectors, thanks to Mark. LP Gas. and a Tail with no Name! Also we did an extension on Moose quarry to get out of some ponding area at the bottom and we should have the top section of Farm junk tided up by the weekend!. All the trail systems seem to be in great condition and getting lots of use.

Here is a great link I thought I would share  dirtwire.tv  Has Great MTB race coverage of the northeast and some funny stuff stuffed in as well. You will want to put that in you favorites for sure.
